Lissette Gonzalez is the morning weather anchor for CBS4 and My 33. She arrived in Miami after serving as the primary weather anchor for KTLA Prime News in Los Angeles. She was also the host of KTLA's "TraffiCast," a daily webcast on LA's weather and traffic.

During her time in Los Angeles, Lissette's weathercast was recognized by the Associated Press Television-Radio Association of California, Nevada and Hawaii with a Mark Twain Award for "Best Weather Segment." In addition to weather, Lissette hosted specials and LA based awards shows.

Prior to KTLA, Lissette held a variety of positions on national and local television. Among those experiences she's hosted "EXTRA Weekend Edition," "Extra en Espanol," "Livin' Large," "La Vida a lo Grande" and "Miami Hoy."

Lissette is from Miami and her family still lives here. She is a graduate of the University of Miami with a double major in broadcast journalism and music-vocal performance. Lissette's a former Miss Florida and in 1999, she was second-runner up in the Miss America competition where she won a $50,000 scholarship. Lissette also enjoyed a theatre run off-Broadway as the star of the musical "4 Guys Named Jose and una Mujer Named Maria" in New York and here in Miami. The New York Times and major publications gave her rave reviews. She also enjoyed a recording career with RCA and recorded a CD with some of the best record producers in the business.
